These sheets are absolutely beautiful! They are nice and heavy and feel so cool and comfortable against the body. They almost have a consistency of chintz. They have a lovely chording at the edge of the seem and are very large fitting. There is plenty of room to wrap around your mattress with ease. The large fold over hem at the face level is about 8 inches wide and is very luxurious. The shams have two cute little bows that you tie up and add special little cottagey touch coupled with the sweet pink checkered backs. I couldn't be happier and I will be looking for more like this from markabu. Thank you so much for a lovely product. I was skeptical at first but now I am happy that I gave you a try.
