It works well, the brightness is good and perfect!!

For most uses to which I expect to wear headlamps, I will want very-uniform distributed reasonable similar to sunlight color-temperature light in sufficiently brightness to perform hand work over hours-long work sessions. So I've been looking for some comfortable long performing "monster cob" light in roughly sunlight color temperature appearance. COB, short for Chip On Board light emitters are generally very uniform in their light pattern distribution, and the COB light emitter in this little headlight is no exception to that. Excellent flood pattern. The recharging 18650 Lithium cell is hard-wired in place rather than easily swappable. I would greatly prefer that it be swappable. Human eye sensitivity to light varies by color temperature, so same electrical load LED "Warm White" produces lower human eye perceived brightness than "Cool White" LED products. This is "Cool White" which for me is acceptable but not ideal. The power button is pressed by pushing on the soft deformable plastic cap which covers the USB recharge port. First press turns fixed focus LED on, and it's surprisingly good. They vendor claim is that it produces 200 lumens, and that may well be true. I like the COB light output better, but honestly, the fairly flood-focused small white LED emitter is good for short to medium distance work. The second button push turns on the cool white LED COB which is wonderfully uniform in its pattern distribution. Be aware that if you rotate the lamp within the headband holder downward enough, you will begin illuminating your nose. That makes senses of course but I did not like that much so I limit the degree of downward aiming to be just short of creating a bright spot on my nose.
I'll try to come back to report about how long this operates before light output drops significantly because I don't know that yet. But so far, this is the most "bang per buck" = highest benefit/cost ratio headlamp I've found. Amazingly good for the price I paid. Do I wish the COB were "Warm White" and larger rather than "Cool White?" Yes, I'd like that even more. Do I wish the single probably low grade Chinese lithium 18650 cell were instantly "hot swappable" with higher-grade 18650 cells so we could carry spares in a pocket? Yes, I'd like that even more. But honestly, for the price paid, this seems to be an astonishingly excellent value.
