This was bigger than expected. It runs smoothly, but the bail is a little stiff. Haven't taken in out on the water yet where the true test would be, but so far, I'm satisfied.

Beautiful reel. It had a bent bail bar and wouldn't stay open but bent it back and works amazing. Spooled it with 30lb mono, took it out to wet the line and boom 6lb nz pink snapper. Good fast retrieval. .

Box got pretty beat up in shipping but most things from Markabudo seeing as how they ship everything in a cheap plastic bag. But the reel is in perfect condition. Came with an extra spool which is awesome but unfortunately it’s pretty cheap and the extra cup has plastic for the clicker part and is made of plastic. It’s too bad because I love the look of the all black one but not worth the risk of loosing a catfish on. Either way it was a bonus and didn’t even mention coming with an extra spool. The spool that’s advertised is metal and very good quality. I am very satisfied with the purchase especially since I used the pick one item for 90% off deal with it and got it for $3.15!! I would still have no problem paying the $17 for it and would definitely recommend it to anyone catfishing or carp fishing!
