Nice and smooth reel for soft plastic. Caught nice flathead without a problem. Smooth drag and no clunky anti reverse. My only worry is that the many holes in the spool might let the sand in easily. But certainly a good buy.

Bought two of the 3000 size reels. Perfect size for bass, catfish, and all freshwater fish, and inshore saltwater fish. I saw reviews on youtube warning against saltwater use because of some of the metals being corrupted by salt and sand. Easy fix, put a film of oil on those parts and correctly rinse them when done. I bought mine for freshwater use anyway. Smooth and light. With proper care these reels will be a pleasure to fish with.
