Works fantastically as toner. I think the idea behind the purple toothpaste is eventually the sAme as purple conditioner for blonde hair. it tones the yellow to be less yellow. it definitely does work. I think it taste a little funny (I got the grape. it taste like grape mint with a funky after taste) it is tolerable though. Not amazing tasting but not terrible.
